Weekly Shannon Lacy, percussionist, and friends, will be playing during Thursday night open mic.
They will provide both a musical intermission and back-up for poets in the third round. as always the open mic is from 8-11pm.

The first ten poets to sign the list get in free. Everyone else pays $5

The high school open mic also continues every Wednesday from 5-8pm. That is a free event.

Miscellaneous

Century House Poetry Reading Series  This poetry event is ongoing the first Sunday of even numbered months, at 1-3pm, Century House, 2401 Santa Rita Road (between Mohr and Stoneridge),Pleasanton.  There are usually two featured readers followed by an open mike where the audience is invited to read one poem of their own (40 lines or less).  There will be light refreshments served; with ample time to pick up flyers, buy poet’s books and network with other poets. The $3 admission at the door will go up to $5 starting at the October reading.  Cynthia L.
